Chuck and Patti McDermott were honored Aug. 4 with the naming of the main room at the Wascott Town Hall as "The McDermott Hearth Room." The Wascott Town Board approved the honor in recognition of the McDermotts' contributions to the community, including establishing the Wascott Historical Park.
