The fundraiser supported the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS), which is not NHS-funded and relies on donations and fundraisers. "Emma from their fundraising team used to work for Hays Travel, so we thought it would be great to help with a fundraising event. Hays Travel is the UK’s largest independent travel agent, with branches across the country. Through its Local Community Partnership initiative, Hays Travel has donated almost £170,000 to local charities in the past year.
