Similarly, water is not lifted from the Godavari river through the Gudem lift irrigation project due to reasons unknown. He said that farmers from the Mancherial Assembly constituency were facing inconvenience due to delay in releasing water from the two projects. He stated that the farmers were raising paddy, cotton, soy and other water-fed crops expecting water from the two projects.
