The worst-hit districts include Golaghat, Sivasagar, Jorhat, Charaideo, Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Darrang and Biswanath. Extensive crop damage has also been reported from Sivasagar, Jorhat, Lakhimpur and Charaideo. The state government has kept 133 relief camps and distribution centres operational across the affected districts.
