The application stated the building would be retained for commercial use, but applicant JCD Architecture and Planning said it would not be used as a takeaway. The plans were approved by planning officers so long as the required developments began within three years. This was then approved by planning officers on Monday, August 3, and means the plans to convert the building into an HMO have taken a significant step forward as this confirms key planning conditions have been met.
