Caledonia’s volleyball team is one such squad and they managed to begin the year with a region victory. Caledonia held the Green Wave to under 10 points in each set as it won the first set 25-5, the second set 25-7 and the third 25-8. Starkville AcademyStarkville Academy started its volleyball season off on the road at Jackson Academy in a 3-0 loss. The Warriors claimed the first set 25-23 before Heritage rallied in the second set for a 25-18 victory.
