Whitwell Chief comment on officer who hit young girlWHITWELL, Tennessee (WDEF) – A mother accuses a Whitwell police officer with backing over her daughter who was playing the yard. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation and all questions about it should be directed to that agency. Adam Rose was on duty at the time of the crash and was in the area conducting an investigation regarding a case he was working on. This was a traumatic and horrible accident which deeply affected all involved and Rose was placed on administrative leave. THP personnel reached out to the Marion County DA’s Office regarding possible charges against Rose, but none were brought forward.
