Fife Council’s Summer of Sport 2026 fund, delivered in partnership with sportscotland, is set to offer £2,500 to £5,000 for projects that encourage children and young people aged three to 26 to get involved in sport and physical activity.
The scheme is part of a wider campaign designed to harness excitement around the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Eligible projects include coaching programmes, holiday activities, sports festivals, come-and-try sessions, and introductory or inclusive sports initiatives.
The fund aims to support up to 40 clubs and organisations across Fife’s seven areas: North East Fife, Levenmouth, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Cowdenbeath, City of Dunfermline, and South & West Fife.
Ineligible costs include activities already completed, elite athlete development, debt repayment, alcohol or hospitality, and capital building projects.
