Slip road to M90 to shut for a week as bridge works continues
['Ally Mcroberts']
Dunfermline Press | News
A series of carriageway and slip road closures has taken place this summer and the next stage will affect the southbound on-slip at junction 2 (Pitreavie).
The remaining works will be completed on the southbound side of the viaduct and, outwith working hours, all traffic management will be removed.
Northbound traffic will be diverted off the motorway at junction 1C (Admiralty) to follow Admiralty Road, Kings Road and the A823(M) where traffic can rejoin the M90 northbound at junction 2, adding an estimated five minutes and two miles onto affected journeys.
There will be some respite for drivers before resurfacing works, which are planned near junction 3 later in the Autumn.
