The University of Worcester has been named a finalist in the Creating Impact category at the Green Gown Awards, which celebrate outstanding sustainability efforts in higher education and further education.
Katy Boom, director of sustainability at the University of Worcester, said: "We are proud to have been shortlisted.
"This highlights the power of our whole-institution approach to sustainability, where students, staff and partners work together to deliver real impact.
The university’s award submission focused on the impact of 17 years of sustainability work led by a small central team in partnership with students.
The University of Worcester was named Sustainability Institution of the Year at the 2019 Green Gown Awards and later received international recognition at the United Nations.
