Brodie Terry, of no fixed abode in Bishop's Castle, appeared at Telford Magistrates’ Court last Thursday, July 30, and pleaded guilty to all three offences which took place on July 11. The court was told how the 34-year-old had driven a Vauxhall Astra on Stebbings in Telford when he had 52 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Terry was handed a two-year community order and must complete 15 days of rehabilitation activities. He must pay £100 compensation to each officer and was fined £50 for the drink-driving offence. The defendant was also banned from driving for 15 months, reduced by 15 weeks if he completes a drink-driving awareness course.
