The A479, between Crickhowell and Talgarth, was closed in both directions around Wednesday lunchtime following the incident. “Dyfed-Powys Police attended to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A479 between Cwmdu and Waun Fach, at around 1pm,” the force said in a statement. “No injuries were reported. The road was closed for vehicle recovery and reopened at around 2.45pm.” The force confirmed that the crash appeared to involve a collision between a van and a tractor.
