The incident occurred late at night on Wednesday, August 5, on the B4518, between Rhayader and St Harmon, with the road closed for around 6 hours. “Dyfed-Powys Police attended to a report of a collision involving two motorcycles on the B4518 between Rhayader and St Harmon at around 10pm on Wednesday 5 August,” the force said in a statement. “One of the motorcyclists sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. “The second motorcyclist, a 61-year-old man, was arrested on suspicious of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. “The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene and reopened at around 3.30am this morning (August 6).”
