Freedom of Information figures obtained from Cornwall Council by finance firm Fast Loan UK show that Grove Place Car Park in Falmouth recorded 749 Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), placing it second on the county-wide list, behind only Priory Car Park in St Austell, which received 950 notices. The data found Grove Place was more than 300 PCNs ahead of several other well-known parking locations across Cornwall, including Sloop Car Park in St Ives (445) and Well Lane Car Park in Falmouth (390). Truro featured prominently in the rankings, with Garras Wharf Car Park recording 629 PCNs, Moorfield Car Park 577, and Old Bridge Street Car Park 369. The research suggests that some of Cornwall's busiest towns and tourist destinations account for the highest levels of parking enforcement, with St Austell, Falmouth, and Truro appearing multiple times in the rankings. The top 10 list was headed by Priory Car Park in St Austell (950 PCNs), followed by Grove Place Car Park in Falmouth (749) and Garras Wharf Car Park in Truro (629).
