Penryn & Falmouth Funeral Directors has been entrusted with arranging the funeral of the late Mr Bernard Eade, who died on July 22, aged 92, but say they know very little about his life and have turned to local people for memories, stories, and photographs. In a public appeal, the funeral directors say they do know Bernard worked repairing televisions and hope that detail might jog someone’s memory of him. Bernard’s funeral service will take place at Falmouth Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 11 am, and the service is open to anyone who knew him and would like to pay their respects.
