Part of the Camborne Town Deal, the project focused on revitalising the town centre and improving access for pedestrians and cyclists. Camborne Renew, the latest scheme, marks the completion of the wider £4.6 million transport scheme funded by the Government’s Town Deal programme with additional support from Cornwall Council. Val Dalley, chair of the Camborne Town Deal Board, said: "The changes have made a real and very positive difference to the town centre. "Camborne Renew has always been a key Town Deal project and I’m delighted to see the finished result." Camborne Renew and Camborne Lifecycle form part of one of 10 Town Deal projects aimed at transforming the heart of Camborne.
