Philip Williams, of Middlehill in Saundersfoot, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court charged with attempted sexual communication with a child. The court heard that between August 20 and 28, 2024, Williams asked a person who he believed was aged under 16 to send him sexual images on Snapchat. The defendant was sentenced to a 12-month community order, as part of which he must complete 25 days of rehabilitation activity. Williams must register as a sex offender for five years, and was made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for the same period.
