The disruption is affecting Station Road in St Clears, a key route through the Carmarthenshire town, with traffic experiencing delays as vehicles are unable to pass through the crossing. In a post on social media, Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Station Road, St Clears. "There are currently delays as the level crossing barriers are stuck down. Level crossings are equipped with safety barriers to stop traffic crossing railway lines when trains are approaching or passing. However, when barriers become stuck, significant delays can quickly build up, particularly on roads that carry local and through traffic.
