A substitute teacher from South Jersey effortlessly slid into the Phillies radio broadcast Wednesday night to call the third inning as the prize for winning one of the team's annual charity auctions.

The inning wasn't all that notable, so Kalb had a chance to ad-lib a bit and fill in the empty spaces.
The lakes in Medford Lakes are "filled to capacity" after yesterday's rainfall, Kalb said, noting a recent drought.
Kalb won this year's radio broadcast auction with a bid of $22,010, and the Phantastic Auction as a whole generated $417,455 in proceeds.
