Duncan Gray, President of Turriff Show, said: "We are permanantly moving the Turriff show to the Saturday and Sunday next year, on July 31 and August 1. "We discussed the potential move over the winter months before taking a vote, and no one argued against the change. "We considered the pros and cons in detail, and the advantages of moving to the weekend clearly outweighed the disadvantages. "Increasingly, people are choosing to attend the show on the Sunday to avoid taking time off work. "That decision must be approved by the committee, and we expect to have a decision very soon.
