After retiring the W16 with the Mistral, Bugatti built one hypercar special, this time on the Bolide's carbon monocoqueOne-off Bugatti Destrier strips the track-only Bolide of its wings. Retains the carbon fiber monocoque and the quad-turbo W16. Unlike those cars, both of which started from the roadgoing Chiron, the Destrier shares its technical base with the track-only Bolide. The one-off wears a bespoke Sapphire Celeste shade with a sparkling effect, set off by polished aluminum accents and tinted carbon fiber parts. Under the skin, the Destrier keeps the Bolide’s carbon fiber monocoque and the quad-turbo 8.0-liter W16 making 1,578 hp (1,177 kW / 1,600 PS).
