A six-inch water main failure led to supply issues and reduced pressure for almost two hours. An Essex & Suffolk Water spokesman said: "Around 1,500 customers were impacted for 90 minutes. Although most customers had water restored quickly, some remain on alternative supplies while repairs continue. Engineers worked to isolate the main, and Essex & Suffolk Water says full repairs are expected to be completed today. Essex & Suffolk Water has apologised for the disruption and thanked customers for their patience during the repairs.
