She took on the challenge in support of Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, which has supported her and her family. Ms Mitchell said: "The walk was to thank Sue Ryder for the help that they've given me and the support my family have received. Her mother received care from Sue Ryder before passing away from cancer in 1983, and her aunt also received support from the charity after being diagnosed with stomach cancer. Her sister Barbara was cared for at Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice before she died in March. She said both she and her husband received counselling from Sue Ryder.
