A partial solar eclipse, the Perseid meteor shower, and the Sturgeon full moon will all be visible. "If you’re patient (and lucky), you may be able to spot the total solar eclipse alongside a few meteors this August. The partial solar eclipse will begin at 6.17pm on August 12 for those in and around London, Bristol, and Cardiff. Manchester and Liverpool will see the eclipse start at 6.13pm, while Scotland's viewing will begin at 6.08pm. The Sturgeon full moon will follow on August 28.
