Calderdale Council planners agreed to permit Motor Fuel Group’s (MFG) plans for Morrisons’ filling station at Jubilee Way, Elland. MFG had applied to Calderdale Council for planning permission to make the changes to the sales building and forecourt there. In a supporting letter with the application, consultants Carney Sweeney, on behalf of MFG, said changes will include an extension to the existing petrol station’s sales building, and installation of two air “wash and vac” units. “The proposed extension to the east of the existing sales building will accommodate a Greggs,” it said. The letter says while selling fuel remains the priority focus for filling stations like this, road users expect a bit more.
