Phyrn Maxine Womer, 96, of Volant passed away Sept. 13, 2025, at Shenango on the Green. Phyrn was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late William Ralph Holzhauser and Margaret Moore Holz-hauser. She married Robert Wayne Womer on Sept. 16, 1950, and he preceded her in death May 31, 2014. Phyrn was a 1948 graduate of Wilmington High School. She was a faithful member of the Volant Methodist Church for 84 years. Survivors include daughter, Peggy Bea (Todd) Foht of Pulaski; sons, Timothy Wayne (Barbara) Womer of Volant and Kim Robert (Martha) Womer of Indiana, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; three great -randchildren; brother; Dale Holzhauser of New Castle; and sisters-in-law, Donna and Beverly Holzhauser. In addition to her parents and husband, Phyrn was preceded in death by twin sister, Betty Miller; and brother, Billy Holzhauser. Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of the 7 p.m. service Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, at the Volant Methodist Church, 1100 Main St. Volant, PA, with Pastor Rebecca Rosengarth officiating. Interment will take place at Volant Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the church in Phyrn's memory. Arrangements by Smith Funeral Home of New Wilmington.
