Sections of the A40 and connecting lanes will be shut overnight on a rolling basis between 8pm and 7am, from August 7 to August 17. Parts of Kilham Lane at Shipton Oliffe, Salperton Road to Pike Hill, and the road from The Crocodile to the A40 at Spring Hill are also included in the works. The works form part of Gloucestershire County Council’s ongoing programme to improve road surfaces across the Cotswold District. Motorists are being advised to check local signage and allow extra time for night journeys while the resurfacing is underway.
