Vilius Domarkas, 38, on Thursday pleaded guilty at Hove Crown Court to causing the death of Anthony Howe on July 8. Domarkas admitted driving a Citroen Relay dangerously on the southbound carriageway of the motorway. Emergency services were called to reports of a collision between a van and a highways worker on the southbound carriageway at Junction 9 just before 1am on July 8. On the same day, Domarkas was arrested and charged with causing death by dangerous driving. Mr Howe is believed to have been working on the motorway at the time of the collision.
