Kayaker rescued off Sussex coast after capsizing

The kayaker had been fishing when he fell into the water and was unable to climb back onto his kayak.
Shoreham RNLI’s all-weather lifeboat, the Enid Collett, was already at sea responding to an earlier report of paddleboarders in possible trouble.
Adam Cairns, coxswain at Shoreham RNLI, said: "The kayaker was wearing a buoyancy aid, which makes a huge difference to your safety on the water.
He was rescued from the water by the crew of a nearby yacht, who took him aboard before transferring him to the RNLI lifeboat.
The casualty was medically assessed by the lifeboat crew and then taken back to the lifeboat station.
