Harvey E. Meyer, age 83, of New Castle passed away the morning of Sept. 12, 2025, at Kadima Rehab and Nursing in New Wilmington. Born Aug. 14, 1942, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Edward and Dorothy (Gillespie) Meyer. On June 29, 1962, he married his wife of 63 years, Bonita 'Bonnie' J. (Seh) Meyer, who preceded him in death Aug. 26, 2025. Harvey was employed by Rockwell and R&J Trucking. He was a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed going to car shows. What mattered most to Harvey was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Sheri Douglas of New Castle and Staci (Tommy) Pavlov of New Bedford; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Philip Douglas. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Burial is in Castle View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
