The comedy premiered at the 2026 Dances With Films Festival in Los Angeles. The film won 18 Audience and Jury Awards, playing in 23 festivals including the 2025 Santa Barbara International Film Festival, the Hamptons International Film Festival and the Miami Film Festival. It was selected for the Kinema and Arthouse Convergence Booking Fair, which connects independent films with theatrical exhibitors. The acquisitions join Tribeca Films’ previously announced 2026 slate, including WE ARE PAT ; REELING ; Independent Spirit Award and Tribeca Festival winner ESTA ISLA ; Berlinale Forum Audience Award winner FWENDS ; and MABEL. Through a broad distribution network and the Tribeca Channel, Tribeca Films creates revenue opportunities for filmmakers while expanding access to exceptional independent cinema.
