ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A warm, dry morning greets much of New Mexico, while isolated afternoon storms and possible flash flooding could impact parts of the south and east. Rio Rancho should stay dry for the morning school commute over the next hour to two hours, though isolated storms may pop up later in the afternoon. Showers and storms have been impacting parts of the region this morning. The morning commute for Albuquerque should be okay and rain-free, but the winds may stick with us for a bit longer. More showers and storms will again bubble up heading into the afternoon and evening, with greater coverage expected by mid to late afternoon.
