The M80 northbound between junctions 1 (Provan Interchange) and 2 (Robroyston Interchange) will be closed overnight for resurfacing works from Wednesday, August 12 to Friday, August 14, 2026. Closures will be in place from 8pm to 6am each night, with traffic diverted via Provan Road, the M8 Junction 13 on-slip, Junction 12 off-slip, and Cumbernauld Road before rejoining at the M80 Junction 2 northbound on-slip. Vehicles will be directed onto Provanmill Road, Royston Road, and Robroyston Road as part of the diversion. Emergency vehicles will still be able to access the route during the closures.
