On August 25, 2024, Mr Kerr had locked the premises for the night when he heard loud banging at his caravan door at around 10.30pm.
Prosecutor John Macpherson said Taylor kept the weapon mostly pointed down and said “step aside” in a thick Irish accent which Mr Kerr believed was put on.
Mr Kerr told the pair he had no money apart from £10 in his wallet.
Taylor ordered Mr Kerr back into his caravan, told him to lock the door and not call anyone, and the pair fled in the vehicles.
Mr Kerr later alerted the garage owner and identified both Walters and Taylor to police.
