ISLAMABAD – Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced fresh reduction cut in petroleum prices, providing relief to consumers across Pakistan.
According to the latest notification issued by OGRA, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs3.19 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) has become Rs1.50 per litre cheaper.
Under revised rates, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs329.82 per litre, while the new price of high-speed diesel has been set at Rs382.36 per litre.
OGRA issued the official notification for the revised petroleum prices on 7 August, confirming that the new rates will come into effect from 12:00 am tonight and remain applicable until the next fortnightly review.
The latest cut is expected to provide modest relief to motorists, transporters, and businesses amid continued fluctuations in global oil prices and exchange rate movements.
