MTN Ghana on Wednesday launched Season 8 of its flagship charity program, Heroes of Change, at a ceremony held at the company’s headquarters in Accra. Since its inception in July 2013, Heroes of Change has rewarded and recognised ordinary Ghanaians making an extraordinary difference in their communities. At the program, past award winners presented a giant citation to MTN to express their appreciation for supporting them at a time when no one else did. Over the past 7 seasons, more than 100 heroes have been recognised, while the MTN Ghana Foundation has delivered over 178 major projects impacting about 5 million lives. “It is my pleasure to officially declare MTN Heroes of Change Season 8 launched,” she concluded.
