There is 1 related update to this story 6 August 2026: Three arrested after firearm discharged in South BristolA further three arrests have been made as part of our investigation after a firearm was discharged in South Bristol yesterday (Wednesday 5 August). Three men, all in their thirties, have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. Yesterday evening, officers arrested two men, one in their late teens and the other in their forties, and a woman in her thirties, for similar offences. An investigation was launched after we were called to Pavey Road, in Hartcliffe, at around 1pm when we received reports of a firearm being discharged. Officers from our Neighbourhood Policing Team remain in the area conducting high-visibility reassurance patrols and we encourage anyone with concerns to speak with them.
