Azerbaijan is ready to supply gas to Ukraine if necessary and is also considering the possibility of using Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said. The minister said energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine has a strategic nature and is based on many years of partnership. Ukraine’s extensive gas storage capacity and underground storage infrastructure have significant potential,” he said. “If the need arises, we will be pleased to supply gas to our friendly Ukraine as well,” Bayramov said. “Azerbaijan will continue providing humanitarian and energy support to Ukraine in line with the needs of the Ukrainian people,” Bayramov added.
