According to the innovation, the procedure for regulating the activities of autonomous ships has been determined. In addition to promoting the development of innovations in maritime transport, autonomous technologies can also contribute to improving the quality of logistics and cargo transportation. The ministry official also spoke about how to ensure the safe operation of autonomous ships. The head of the department emphasized that autonomous ships won't be able to move freely in the territorial waters of Azerbaijan.
