EAEU to focus on AI and logistics under Kazakhstan’s chairmanship

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will focus on developing artificial intelligence, creating logistics hubs and digitalizing industry and agriculture as part of Kazakhstan’s priorities during its chairmanship, Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov said.
According to the press service of Kazakh government, he made the remark at the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, these priorities were outlined by Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his address to the leaders of EAEU member states.
The meeting agenda also included food security and the development of trade and economic cooperation with major external partners of the union.
“I am confident that the agreements reached following our meeting will make a significant contribution to achieving the set goals and further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation within the EAEU,” Bektenov said.
