FERMANAGH man Tom Mohan has been appointed Academy Director at Dundalk FC, where he will oversee the club’s player development programme and help shape the next generation of talent. “Dundalk has shown over many years that young players will be given an opportunity if they are good enough,” Mohan said. Dundalk Executive Director Chris Clinton welcomed the appointment, describing Mohan as one of the country’s leading player development figures. “We’ve seen in recent weeks how important academy development is in creating sustainable structures, and it’s fantastic that someone of Tom’s calibre has chosen to join Dundalk.” The role has been funded through the League of Ireland Academy Investment Programme, supported by the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport and Sport Ireland.
