A ROSLEA teacher living with a rare degenerative condition is urging people to support a campaign calling for access to a drug she believes could help protect her independence. Friedreich’s Ataxia is a rare inherited neurological condition which affects balance, coordination, speech and movement. The former teacher, who now works as a supply teacher, first began experiencing symptoms in her early twenties while studying in Belfast.
