The approved development will also see the reconfiguration of the club's grass tennis courts, the creation of a new grass tournament court, three new hard-surfaced floodlit tennis courts, and extensive changes to the site's internal layout and parking arrangements. In addition, plans include a new entrance boulevard, resurfacing works and the construction of a circular link road within the site. The application, submitted on behalf of Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club, was received by Bradford Council in December 2025 and formally approved on July 31, 2026. The council has stipulated that for every tree removed during the development, four replacement trees must be planted, with all replacement specimens meeting minimum size requirements. Developers have been advised that the route must remain unobstructed during works unless a temporary closure or diversion is formally approved.
