They met with trustee Jan Wheelock, Andrea Brady, volunteer and activity leader, volunteers and enthusiastic, confident young riders. The visitors witnessed first-hand the strong bond between the riders and the horses, with the youngsters clearly enjoying their sessions and showing growing confidence and enthusiasm. The Otley and Dales RDA is part of the National Riding for the Disabled Association whose aim is to improve the health, wellbeing and confidence of children and adults with disabilities through horse riding and other equestrian activities. The donation from the Rotary Club of Ilkley Wharfedale was very much appreciated and will be used towards the upkeep of the animals and the centre.
