Janice StephenJanice Stephen, 85, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on August 5, 2026, at Willow Haven Nursing Home. She was born on June 18, 1941, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert Ward and Zelma (Bird) Ward. Janice was a stay-at-home mother and was married to her best friend, Neil, for over 49 years. Above all, she loved spending her time with her grandchildren, whom she loved deeply. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, Byron “Neil” Stephen; son, James “Jim” Bagent; brother, Robert Ward; sister, Sara Broassa; brother-in-law, Edmond “Frenchie” Broassa.
