She was born on Saturday, March 9, 1946, in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of the late Jospeh Wilson Wineman and Margaret Marie Schrack Wineman. Bessie was employed at Crossroads Carryout, then Airwood Carryout for a period of time and later worked for the Longaberger Company for 15 years. In addition to her parents, Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Wheeler and a son, Michael Wheeler. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Johnny Nolan officiating. The Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville, is in charge of the arrangements.
