The Gilded Age is one step closer to its return. Carrie Coon, who plays the formidable matriarch Bertha Russell on the HBO drama, shared to social media a photo of herself and co-star Morgan Spector with the caption “That's a wrap.” It is unknown when exactly season four will pick up, but it is unlikely to be at that point in the timeline. Season three of The Gilded Age was set in 1884; TV Insider previously reported the next season will start in 1886. Along with Coon, Spector, and Nixon, returning cast members include Louisa Jacobson, Denee Benton, Christine Baranski, and Harry Richardson.
