Gigi’s Kitchen, owned by Ghanaian chef Gina Abbam-Baidoo, has been selected to represent Ghana at the second edition of the Onga West African Jollof Battle after emerging winner of the national selection competition. Gina Abbam-Baidoo, popularly known through her Gigi’s Kitchen brand, emerged victorious after beating nine other talented finalists, earning the opportunity to fly Ghana’s flag at the West African culinary showdown. At the Onga West African Jollof Battle, Gina will compete against representatives from other West African countries for the regional title and a grand prize of $5,000.
