President Mahama stressed that remembrance should not end with annual ceremonies but should inspire concrete action that protects those who continue to serve Ghana. Reflecting on the significance of the inter-faith memorial service, President Mahama said Ghanaians, regardless of their religious beliefs, shared a common conviction that death is not the end of life's journey. President Mahama urged Ghanaians not to leave the memorial service burdened only by sorrow but inspired to build a nation worthy of the sacrifices made by the deceased. "As we leave this memorial service today, let us carry with us not only sadness but also a sense of purpose," he said. He challenged citizens and public officials alike to honour the fallen through integrity, selflessness and compassion.
