Two people have died, and seven others have been injured following a road traffic accident at Abor Junction on the Mankessim–Accra Highway in the early hours of Thursday, August 6. The crash, involving a Toyota Voxy with registration number AS 8911-25, occurred shortly before 2:00 a.m., according to information released by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS). Firefighters, supported by personnel from the National Ambulance Service, arrived at the scene at approximately 2:01 a.m. to carry out rescue operations. Three of the injured were taken to the Mercy Women Catholic Hospital in Mankessim for emergency medical care. Authorities have not yet established what caused the accident, and investigations are expected to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
